Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a dedicated Billing Collections Specialist. Newly created Billing/Collections Specialist for GROWING company. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, work independently and the ability to manage billing and collections processes efficiently. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the financial integrity of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing the billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and taking appropriate action to resolve overdue accounts.
  • Communicating with clients to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth billing and collection operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of billing, collections, and customer interactions.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports related to billing and collections.
  • Implementing improvements to streamline billing and collection processes.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in billing and collections or a related financial role in a business to business setting.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes and accounts receivable management.
  • Proficient in using ERP system software and tools for billing and collections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour.
